It amazes us that for years we both frequently went to our amazing neighborhood dive bar, Brady’s Yacht Club, but never met. The amount of friends and acquaintances we both shared and nights we must have just barely missed each other, reminds us that timing is everything. It wasn’t until April 7th, 2017 when “it’s meant to be” came to be. The extroverted and adorably loud Mark was introduced to the more introverted, yet secretly spunky, Kat.
Mark found the best way to spark her interest by showing her pictures of the amazing Zeppelin. How could she not fall for a guy whose biggest pride was to show off pictures of his dog??? She knew instantly, that this dog lover with a big beard was someone she needed to get to know more.
Not in her fashion, Kat was the pursuer. With the time we took to get to know each other, the more we realized the small misses in time we passed each other without knowing were meant to just to bring us together in this exact moment.
Through career changes, health challenges, family connections, friendship blending, beach days that turn to taco nights, and endless nights at Kiantis or Tramonti, our love grew to something before we didn’t think was possible.
Now it is time to FINALLY make it official and say “I do”. With all of you present, you have witnessed this journey and have been a big part of the reason our love grew. We can’t wait to make it official to all the people who have been asking…
